An original illustration and design based on the book The Naked Sun by Isaac Asimov. In this book, detective Elijah Baley is sent to the planet Solaria to investigate a murder. On Solaria people live on huge estates well away from each other and they only ever come into physical contact with each other for procreation. The rest of the time the Solarians are tended to by scores of robots who jump to their every call. If the murder was committed by a robot, as all the evidence suggests, Solarian society would instantly crumble, as it is impossible for a robot to harm a human.

Taking inspiration from the book I created the cold, angular, mechanical robot and placed multiple copies of it under an organic, almost tribal looking sun.
